How do I test an IR with a computer and an audio-interface?
If you don’t have a IR cab sim pedal or a 3rd party IR handling Multi-FX you can still try IR. To test an IR file from the database, all you need is
- A computer
- An audio interface
- A cable
- Headphones (recommanded) or an acoustic amp (beware feedback!)
WARNING: the experience is not as pleasing as with a pedal since the computer introduces latency, but it gives you an idea (slightly delayed).
